As we kick off our Sculpt Anywhere Challenge paired with our new Sculpt Anywhere Travel Bundle, I wanted to share some of my favorite travel tips for when I am on the go for the job!
As Vice President of Training, I travel worldwide and share PVOLVE with incredible people and places! Just this year alone, I have ventured to Sugar Beach, St. Lucia, Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and New York City three times, and that’s just the beginning! What I am most looking forward to next is visiting a handful of our studio locations across the United States. At each location, Director of Programming Maeve McEwen or I will take you through a PVOLVE workout using some Sculpt Anywhere Travel Bundle equipment. These pieces of equipment are client favorites when on the go. Notably, Jennifer Aniston!
When I am on the go, packing efficiently is always at the top of my mind. The new Sculpt Anywhere Travel Bundle fits perfectly into my suitcase. Plus, it doubles as the perfect bag to throw your extra pair of clothes, shoes, or swimsuit into when heading between activities on your travels! This leads me to my top three travel non-negotiables:
- Maintain my routine. Since I travel so much, maintaining my movement practice is critical to helping me feel grounded in a new environment, better in my body after long days of travel, and stronger when I return home. To do this, I always preplan and pick my workouts and playlists. For every workout, I always make a playlist to go along with it. If you have ever been to my class at the West Hollywood Studio or the Live Virtual Studio, you know that music is a large part of my class experience and workouts!
- Practice self-care: After my workouts, I find ways to recover and take care of my body. On the go, that typically means plenty of walking, utilizing my travel-size massage gun, packing protein-filled snacks to fuel me throughout the day, and staying hydrated.
- Focus on consistency over intensity: When I travel, I know that it typically takes my body a few days to recalibrate to a new environment. So, I always opt for quicker workouts that meet my body where it’s at during my travels. When a workout is 30 minutes or less, there are no excuses!
With that, I am excited to share a quick, travel-friendly series I shot in beautiful St. Lucia at Sugarbeach Viceroy! These workouts are efficient, and most are under 30 minutes to help you maximize your time. In these workouts, you will use pieces from the Sculpt Anywhere Travel Bundle and get peaks into how I train with Jennifer Aniston using these pieces of equipment and a combination of our Signature formats: Strength & Sculpt, Sculpt & Burn, and Progressive Weight Training.
